Totally agree....nice to know I'm the only one who scoured the net for the Vball Extra Fine! I am so guilty of paying the shipping out of desperation...Pilot knows very well what they are doing. I can't do work without this pen, I'm addicted.

Ive been using the pilot vball grip extra fine for over a year. i always make sure to have 2 in the pocket just incase one slips out. Great pen even for drawing. Only complaint would be that the exterior finish starts wearing down. But that only shows how long they last.

If you are really worried about size the Moleskine volant is 2 1/2 x 4, and has 56 pages, all detachable. I am waiting to finish my current cahiers and have not used it daily yet but it is much smaller in a pants pocket.

Folks! I've been waiting forever for someone else to share this, but I've not seen it anywere else, so here may be a world premier.

Why not have it all?

1) Get yourself a black Levenger Pocket Briefcase.

2) Put a card or two on the writing deck.

3) Put some spare cards in the center pocket.

4) Turn the thing over and slip a small black cahier into the back pocket. You'll be amazed at the fit. They were made for each other.

5) Keep your pen in your shirt pocket where it belongs and never buy a shirt without a pocket.

Enjoy, as I have for about two years.

After I read aboutcreate, connect, consume and getting round to buy indexcards, I've colorcoded them according to ech of those three words.

Just started my organisation, but decided just to spend about one hour max to read about hipster pda's and am just going to use one.

This post was one of the more entertaining *and* informative ones, thanks!

I have pencils - loads of pencils that I've been throwing in a box for years. I don't remember how I got it, but I found a Faber Castell Autograph 2-881 2B. It looked cool - big lead, so I sharpened it and began using it. Wow! Very nice indeed. Just now i decided to look into ordering more and that is where I read here that they are no longer in production. I have quickly put that wonderful little pencil away to use no more, but to just have and behold. ;)

I love Moleskines. Having said that, I recently found (at Targét) a set of notebooks that I would almost swear came from the same factory in China. They are very nicely split-leather bound in black or brown, and even have the pocket in the back. They come in the "mini" and "diary" sizes.

Best news: they're almost exactly half the price. I've been carrying one for about three weeks in my back pocket, and it still looks like new. Even has that leather smell.
